Terms of Service
Last updated: September 1, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Venwai — a service that monitors your Stripe subscriptions against the access records in your own application and alerts you when the two disagree. By creating an account or using Venwai, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Venwai connects to your Stripe account (via a restricted, read-only key you provide) and to an endpoint on your own application, compares the two on a schedule, and alerts you when they disagree. Venwai never writes to your Stripe account or your database — every integration is read-only.
2. Beta status
Venwai is currently in beta. Features, pricing, and reliability targets described on this site may change as the product matures. The service is provided free of charge during this period; if and when paid plans launch, we'll notify every account by email before anything changes.
3. Your account
- You're responsible for the accuracy of the credentials you connect (Stripe key, endpoint URL, status mappings) — Venwai can only compare what it's given.
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You may disconnect a project or delete your account at any time.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Venwai to access, probe, or interfere with Stripe accounts or applications you don't own or have authorization to monitor.
- Attempt to circumvent the read-only nature of the service or reverse-engineer its detection logic for the purpose of evading it.
- Use the service in a way that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure or that of our sub-processors.
5. No warranty on detection
Venwai is a monitoring aid, not a guarantee. Discrepancy detection depends on the accuracy of the data your endpoint returns, the status mapping you configure, and the polling schedule — a discrepancy must be confirmed on two consecutive checks before we alert you, which means there is always some delay between an event occurring and an alert being sent. Venwai is provided "as is," without warranty that it will catch every discrepancy or that alerts will always arrive without delay.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Venwai and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost revenue from a discrepancy that went undetected or was reported late — arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
7. Data & privacy
How we handle the data you connect is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. Termination
You may stop using Venwai and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to accounts that violate Section 4 (Acceptable use), and will make reasonable efforts to notify you first except where immediate action is needed to protect the service or other users.
9. Changes to these Terms
If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email before the changes take effect.
